New episode every morning before the US open

Market news, read aloud, before the open.

Ten minutes for retail investors: where the market closed, who reports today, the stories that moved it, and a science and technology corner. Two voices, no ads, every source linked.

An automated news digest from published articles. Not investment advice.

The app

Your companies first.

Sixty stories, ordered by you

The app carries the whole day's feed. Follow a few companies and their stories play first, with nothing about you leaving the phone: the order is decided on the device.

Markets, then Science

Two tabs: the market briefing and a science and technology corner. Each keeps its own place, so a tab you leave is where you left it.

Made for the commute

Plays in the background and from the lock screen, keeps the day's audio for the tunnel, and reads the stories beyond the voiced ones aloud on the device.

How it is made

Reported by newsrooms. Read by a machine. Checked by code.

From the newsrooms

Each morning the stories are gathered from CNBC, Reuters, Yahoo Finance and other publishers, and from the companies' own filings. Every segment links to the article it came from, in the show notes and in the app.

Written to be heard

Each segment says only what its article says, in short sentences, with dates spoken the way you will hear them and every company introduced once. Two voices alternate story by story.

Checked before it is published

One event is told once even when three outlets covered it. A segment about something its article never mentions is rejected. Every clip is levelled to one loudness and refused if it ends early.

Then the science corner: what was discovered, built or approved this week, scored on whether something was actually done rather than on how good it sounds.
